Position Title: Program Coordinator
Employment Type: Part-Time (Approximately 20-25 hours/week)
Location: Falls City EDGE Office, 1705 Stone St.

Position Overview

Falls City EDGE is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and community-focused professional to support the day-to-day operations of the organization. This role is essential in ensuring smooth internal operations, maintaining strong communication with members, and advancing community development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Operational Management

  • Manage daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for phone calls, visitors, and inquiries.
  • Maintain office presence during regular business hours (this is not a remote position.)
  • Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, and distribute follow-up materials.
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and assist with event logistics.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
  • Other duties in support of EDGE’s mission as assigned by the Executive Director, Officers, or Board of Directors.

Financial & Recordkeeping Support

  • Assist with tracking financials, invoices, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate databases and member information.

Member & Community Engagement

  • Provide periodic updates to members on EDGE activities.
  • Respond to email inquiries.
  • Update and maintain website content.
  • Proficient in social media messaging for regular updates to EDGE members and general public.

Community Development & Project Coordination

  • Support community initiatives and development projects.
  • Seek and write grants for city administration, utility operations, community development, and municipal infrastructure.

Property & Land Management

  • Manage farm rent agreements for Champions Crossing, North Commercial Corridor, and our Industrial Park.
  • Assist in advertising lots for sale in our Industrial Park, residential lots in Champions Crossing, and commercial lots at North Commercial Corridor.

Government & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate and communicate with local elected officials, state representatives, and federal delegation.
  • Some travel may be required for meetings with local, state, or federal representatives.

Technology

  • Utilize Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Updates to website required on user-friendly program.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and financial skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information (non-disclosure required.)
  • Experience in administration or community development preferred.

Work Schedule

  • Approximately 20-25 hours per week.
  • Flexible schedule, but not remote.
  • Generally 4-5 hours each weekday, but 7-8 hours over three weekdays an option.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $22.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • 3% retirement plan match available.
